The historic Fox Theater in Downtown Fullerton is known for showing classic films that no longer play in modern theaters, but President of the Fullerton Theater Foundation Tom Tice chose to change that by creating the first annual College Film and Music Festival at the Fox.
The festival is intended to be a benefit for the Fox Theater that is in conjunction with California State University, Fullerton's communications class.
"They came to use with a project and we thought it was a worth wild cause" Tice said.
The films that will be shown at the event include "Monuments" and "Beyond the Fence," which are both created by Chapman University students Melissa Huddleston and Sean Nietschmann.
Along with the movies being shown, bands including Alive, Your Majesty and Sublime, LBC will be performing along side the films that will be perjected onto the Fox. If you want to have a great time and enjoy some independent films and live music, the Fox theater is the place to be Thursday night.
