"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is the latest game by Bethesda Game Studios and it will quickly take over all of your free time.

The story behind Skyrim is that your character must find out why dragons have appeared again in the land of Skyrim and to stop them. Luckily for everyone, in the world you are a dragonborn, the only one around who has any sort of a real shot at killing the dragons.

What makes Skyrim so appealing is that you can do anything you want, whenever you want.

Don't like the look of that old man walking by, you can shoot fireballs at his face.

Of course, doing unfavorable things will not go well with the inhabits of Skyrim. Guards will put you in jail for murder.

Advancing the story is possible if you stay focus enough to make it to the location without getting distracted by everything else in the world. The game is filled with random caves, houses and forts that are just begging to be explored.

Aside from the main quest, there are hundreds of side quests to fill your time before and after the main quest line.

While the style of gameplay will be familiar to anyone who played "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" and "Fallout 3," it's still different from them.

Leveling in the game is a bit different. There is a main level for your character and then there are separate levels for each particular skill like, blacksmithing, alchemy, one-handed, pick pocketing and a whole lot of other skills that you gain experience and level from.

Skill trees with perks are in Skyrim as well and it's confusing because there are so many choices to make. It's difficult to make one choice for a particular perk because you not really sure if it'll be useful in the future.

The music in the game is epic in every sense of the word. Fighting slowing moving walruses wouldn't be so much fun if the music didn't make it feel so exciting.

If you're looking for a game that will eat up all of your free time and make you question your reason for going outside then "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is the only  game for you.
