The Maverick Theater in Fullerton will be presenting a science fiction double-feature of The Rocky Horror Picture Show along with Night of the Living Dead, beginning Oct. 16 and running through Nov. 21.

Tickets will be on sale for $15 dollars for students and $25 for those who are not students.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is based on the rock musical and is one of the first musicals to be made into a movie.

The production is a 1975 British musical comedy film that parodies science fiction and horror films.

Released Aug. 14, 1975 in the United Kingdom and in Sept. 26, 1975 in the United States, it is about an engaged couple, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, whose lives get turned upside down by a man named Frank ‘n’ Furter and his house of strange Transylvanians on a stormy night.

This will be the fourth playing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Maverick Theater.

Along with the Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Night of the Living Dead will also be playing and both features can be seen for $30.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m.  Reservations can be made by calling the box office and leaving basic information such as name, phone number, date and size of party. Reservations can also be made through the theater’s Web site.

The Maverick Theater is located on 110 E. Walnut Ave. in Fullerton.
