New A.S. OfficersA.S. President-elect's resignation leads to another new student government for next semester.
At Tuesday's Associated Students Senate meeting, Rajan Vaidya was promoted to A.S. president-elect.
The senator was A.S. Vice President-elect.
The promotion came as a result of former A.S. President-elect Marita Soler's resignation. She resigned in order to attend the University of California Santa Barbara next semester.…

Commencement CancelledRainy weather does not halt festivities
The Fullerton College commencement ceremony was canceled due to inclement weather. The celebration was not halted. Students will still receive their diplomas and a reception will be held.

Fullerton College spends only part of funds allocated for supplies and materials where they were originally intended. The college uses a system known as "rollover" to provide funding in many areas outside original intended usage. Money left over from one school year can be placed next year in any place decided by the college.…

Protesters in Santa Ana RallyThis year's May 1 protest gathering attracts a smaller crowd than usual.
About 200 protesters marched through the streets of Santa Ana Thursday afternoon in efforts to bring attention to immigration reform. There has been a major decline in participants in comparison to the last couple of years.
In Santa Ana last year about 2,000 participated and 15,000 in 2006.…
