When you walk into Roscoe's Famous Deli the bar stands varnished and proud and the feeling is just, well, clean. People sit on a quiet Sunday afternoon watching the game and chatting with the friendly bartender.

Roscoe's serves sandwiches and traditional sides including but not limited to macaroni salad, potato salad, and pasta salad. There are a total of 15 menu items to choose from but that shouldn't stop you from ordering whatever it is the sandwich fiend in you desires.

Roscoe's welcomes special orders. You better be a sandwich fiend too if you're eating at Roscoe's. Each sandwich comes packed with nine ounces of meat and a giant pickle on the side. It's a chore to eat half of it.

The refreshing thing about Roscoe's is it's comfortable and light atmosphere.

The shiny marble topped counters are begging for any one of Roscoe's novelty sodas to sit lightly on top of them.

Roscoe's is the brainchild of the owner's of Hero's Bar and Grill and neighbors it in Fullerton's SOCO District. Roscoe's is lacking in two areas: you can't order potato chips or fries and there are no desserts to be found anywhere. But you just might forget it all when you take a bite of your giant sandwich and taste their sweet and sour pasta salad.

Although Roscoe's comes a close second to Jerry's Famous Deli, one of the greatest deli's New York and L.A. have ever seen, it presence is ablsolutely necessary.
