ICC Holds Annual Awards Ceremony
Clubs, organizations and faculty members are recognized at yearly event.

The Inter-Club Council held its 21st annual awards reception Monday in the student conference room on campus to give appeciation to faculty and students alike.
President of the Inter-Club Council Edward Scott oversaw the awards ceremony. Scott handed out awards to President Kathleen Hodge, Campus Safety, A.S., Cadena Transfer Center and Disability Support Services.
Faculty adviser of the ICC Darlene Jensen received the most awards from her students. The ICC president, vicepresident, secretary and treasurer all walked up to her and gave her a big hug. They all thanked her for her support and guidance.
"Darlene Jensen was a crucial backbone for us," said Edward Scott. There are 32 active clubs currently on campus that cover a large range of ethnic, religious and educational backgrounds. Already there are 36 additional clubs on campus pending activation for next semester.
The ICC is also very active in the sorrounding communities. ICC clubs have been involved in sponsoring and developing outreach programs like the Thanksgiving food-drive, the festival of diversity, A.S. blood drive and the hurricane relief fund.The ICC does a lot more than club activities. They also work for our community.
