Welcome back kiddies. Fall's procurement has laid summer to waste and soon the sun and its warmth will fade, bringing back that all encumbering darkness. Fear not though, my well-mannered friends and compatriots, summer still simmers and faith languishes not in the altruistic dying of the seasons.
War is upon us. Yes, this is true, and the tall man stands ready to cord the noose, but lay not your weakened hearts astray. Still, even at the momentary forbearance of doom, something still brightens white in the East.
The rose that made the desert bloom has been uprooted, prodded and shaken, but still it stands. All sides have encroached upon it since the seeds first fell. There have been wars and skirmishes. Many have fallen on both sides over the decades, all for one city, Jerusalem. The resolution is in sight if the great hand can cull both sides into reparations. Doubtful, I think.
Holy men hold the keys to people's lives in many Eastern lands. Lives jingle in their pockets like so many tarnished coins. They are put to use with the flick of an old man's hand. Their words resound like the voice of God Himself. They
ultimate sacrifice for the distribution of the theocratic state.
The giants of the East; the bad men, they are not to be deemed innocuous. They are our antithesis. Make no mistake. They intend to dispel all that our forefathers built. We have built moral statues of Judeo/Christian origin into a secular democracy and now the suit sharks in Washington intend to muddy the water. The East wishes to destroy all of this and have the clerics and imams rule us. They want the Koran to rule us, carrying no disputations against bloody means of
achievement.
Though this skirmish between the West and the East seems to have been temporarily resolved, darker still looms the forthcoming conflict with the Persians. Listed in the axis of evil by President Bush, Iran presents a deep-seated problem. Bordered on the north with Russia, the use of military might to bring this cleric-ruled nation under control seems a daunting task. Iran's own constitution specifically states that they will not allow themselves to be oppressed by
