The Associated Student positions are officially filled, according to the results from Thursday's election.

Voter turnout nearly doubled from last year's elections with 283 voters this year, according to A.S. President Ethan Morse.

All 26 senatorial positions are filled, along with the position of recorder. Morse is confident that with the workload increasing they will find a way to distribute it amongst themselves.

"I hope to represent my constituency well and my main goal is to improve the benefits we provide for students currently" said Azar Shirazi, A.S. Recorder.

Morse said that those who were not elected but would still like to contribute are welcome to attend Senate meetings as a member of the senate. Although they cannot vote, their voices will be heard.

Now that all positions have been filled, the A.S. hopes to accomplish as much as it can with the resources available to it.
