As we approach the final year of the Bush Presidency, campaigns are heating up and primary season is fast approaching.

With both the President and Congress at such historically low approval ratings; it's easy to get lulled into believing we are destined to live under an ineffective government.

Republicans blame Democrats; Democrats blame Republicans, and they all just keep spending our country into what is now a $9 trillion deficit.

This is the danger when people who have forgotten the oaths they took to uphold the Constitution run the country. They pass legislation that tramples our liberties, and slap a fancy label on it like the "Patriot Act" to get the public to accept it during a moment of national crisis. And as continued legislation encroaches our civil liberties for the sake of the "war on terror," it's important to heed the warning of founding father James Madison:

"If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy."

But there is one man who stands to fight for the ideals of the founders and the
Constitution they provided. He stands to fight an out-of-control government and to preserve our freedom. This man is Congressman Ron Paul, and he's running for President.

If you have actually heard of him, it's likely he has been mentioned as a "long shot" or "fringe candidate." He's been given far less time in the debates and much less attention in the media than other "top tier" candidates. His victories in the post-debate polls have been disingenuously dismissed as the handiwork of "spammers."

Paul says things Republicans aren't supposed to say these days. He is the only GOP candidate to oppose the war in Iraq. Each day he causes more Americans to question
their government leadership and the political status quo.

Paul wants to be President, not to rule over us, but to keep government out of our daily lives. The government was established solely to ensure and protect the liberty of its people; not to be a caretaker of the masses.

Known to his colleagues and constituents as "Dr. No" because of his refusal to vote for wasteful and unconstitutional spending, Paul is a man of impeccable principle. He means what he says, and has a 20-year record to prove it. He has never voted to raise taxes, doesn't accept money from lobbyists or corporate donors and has never voted to raise congressional pay.

Each day, more Americans join the "Ron Paul Revolution." His support is diverse.

When you see swarms of both Democrats and Republicans gathering to embrace the message of Paul, you know something special is going on. Ron Paul is proving to be truly capable of uniting this nation.

When Ron Paul was elected to offfice, he swore to uphold the Constitution. He's a man of his word, and is keeping his promise.
The Federal Reserve is killing our dollar, the war is killing our soldiers, police-state
methods are killing our civil liberties, and the income tax and an unmanageable failed foreign policy are killing our economy. (Continued…)

Great article, I hope Dr. Pauls message catches on, it scares me to think we may have to suffer through 8 years of anyone but Ron Paul! A nation in debt, to the extent we are, has no wealth, and it will catch up to us. (Continued…)
