Waterpolo 3-1 in Ventura Tournament Over Weekend
Hornet women perform well against opponents.

The women's water polo team finished strong over last weekend in the tournament at Ventura College going 3-1.
On Friday the Hornets began the tournament against LA Valley and embarrassed them 13-0.
Goalies Kelsey Rogers and Cara Zang alternated quarters and each faced only one shot per quarter in the shut out. Fullerton freshman Samantha McCord had 3 goals in the first quarter and sophomore Alyssa Chamberlin tallied 2.
The Monarchs managed only one save against the onslaught of Fullerton (13-6, 1-2).
Later that same day the Hornet women faced off against Palomar and beat them 11-6. Comet Milena Bkrich put up half of the 6 goals scored by Palomar.
Fullerton sophomore Kimmi Boydston had a team high 4 goals for the game. On Saturday the Fullerton women took on El Camino College and dealt them a 11-1 loss. The Hornet offense was evenly spread around, as was the defense.
Later in the same day Fullerton drew the hosts of the tournament, Ventura, and they
gave the team a challenge.
Despite a stellar effort by Rogers, who made 16 saves, the Hornet women fell short and lost 6-3.
The next team to face Fullerton will be Orange Coast, in a conference match, today at 3p.m. in their pool.
The Hornet women will also go into the Citrus Valley Tournament this weekend.
