Tim Wise visited Fullerton College and fascinated his listeners with one of his powerful lectures. He held his grasp on the audience with his anti-racist beliefs, life experiences, and sense of humor.

Wise is one of the most respected anti-racist activists of today. He graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in Political Science. He is a public speaker and author, and has publicly spoken at over 400 college campuses, which include prestigious schools such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, etc.

Wise’s work has been recognized from many people such as Michael Benitez, Jr., whom is the Director of Diversity Initiatives at Dickinson College. Benitez has stated that Wise is "[b]y far one of the most powerful and influential speakers [he has] heard in [his] lifetime."

Wise also brings comfort to those whom are often discriminated against; Ta’Shia Asanti, a writer and activist, has said, "I felt renewed in my own struggle . . . I and the invisible ones you will probably never meet [. . .] will feel the ripple of your work."

Having Wise come to Fullerton College was a huge honor and a great experience as well. He enlightened the audience with his open minded attitude and ability to capture the attention of his listeners and hold their interest.
